Children progress from the Early Years Foundation Stage into the Primary School where they continue their educational journey from ages 6 to 11. Students follow Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 of the British National Curriculum.

At British International Primary School we believe every child is precious and unique. Teachers work closely with students to help them achieve their full potential while encouraging motivation, discipline and self-respect.

Our environment is rich in opportunities, challenges and experiences that allow children to discover their interests and develop confidence. Parents are regarded as essential partners in this journey and their active involvement is encouraged.

Teaching strategies are contemporary, personalised and meaningful, helping students grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically.

Our Teaching Approach

In the Primary School, students are presented with new challenges and responsibilities within a warm and caring environment. The school day becomes more structured as children progress through the year groups.

Teachers design engaging lessons that capture the interest of every learner, ensuring that learning is personalised, enjoyable and meaningful. The intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of every child is supported by caring classroom teachers and their full-time teaching assistants.

Students are encouraged to excel academically, participate in sports and take part in the many co-curricular opportunities available throughout the school year.
