FAQ's British International Primary School
Do you have P.E and Swimming lessons?
Yes! P.E. activities range from Football, Basketball, Netball and Volleyball. Swimming lessons are offered across all year groups.
Do you assess new students?
A pre-test or needs assessment informs teachers what students know and do not know at the outset. BIPS is a member of ISAZ (Independent Schools Association of Zambia) and Secondary Schools are welcome to make presentations to Year 6 pupils and their parents.
What curriculum does BIPS use?
BIPS uses the English National Curriculum for Primary Schools and the Oxford International Curriculum which ends at Year 6. This allows teachers to place children in appropriate learning groups and benchmark progress throughout the academic year.
